The TLC show, Match Me Abroad focuses on American singles who are tired of striking out at home. They have all decided to take matters into their own hands and hire international matchmakers in order to find love.
Harold is one of the cast members who want to find love and settle down. He is from New Mexico and has a lot of interesting qualities. He is autistic and also an artist. He works hard for his money, but something has always been missing.

That is love. He hired a matchmaker named Katarina to help him to find love in Ukraine. Katarina has a very high success rate and when she meets him for the first time, she knows that he needs a lot more help than he is letting on.
Match Me Abroad: Harold’s New Look
Harold is a very kind and sweet soul who is ready to marry a Ukrainian woman and bring her to the United States. He decided he wanted a Ukrainian woman because of their personalities and he has a thing for their looks.
Katarina sent him on one date and she gave him some advice. She told him to be an active listener during the date, which he admitted that he is terrible at doing. During the date, he tried to ask his date questions about herself, but she wasn’t feeling him at all.
She made fun of his clothing and basically told him that he wasn’t attractive. After the date, Katarina decided to give him a makeover, and in the newest episode of the show, we will get a chance to see his new look.
In TLC’s newest trailer, we will get a closer look at the woman who gives Harold a makeover and the advice that she gives him.
During the clip, Katarina tells the cameras, “I believe that when need to find Harold someone that is on the same intellectual level. At the same time, people are superficial. You have to care about what kind of impression you make on your first date.”
While Harold is working with the woman doing his makeover, she gets out of his clothing and asks how often he wears some of his shirts. One shirt is covered in vibrant flowers and he tells her that he has worn it on a few dates. Then he adds, “It didn’t have the best results.”
She asks him to try on solid colors and stop wearing suspenders. When he comes back with the outfit she created for him, the women are shocked at how great he looked!
