Martha Stewart has opened up on her fondness for comedian Pete Davidson.
Martha Stewart Reveals Her ‘Love’ For Pete Davidson-‘Like The Son I Never Had’
The pair are known to be very close, but this led some to even suggest that they were in a relationship as a result of the following photo showing them to be very close.
In the picture here, we can see that Pete is standing next to Martha and his former girlfriend Kim Kardashian for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. During the course of that process, Martha’s hand can be seen clenching Pete’s very tightly.
But rather than anything going on between the pair, which is understandable by virtue of the fact that Martha is 81 while Pete is 28, she does care for the comedian. In an interview with the Daily Mail, she said: “Pete Davidson is like the son I never had.
“He is a charming boy who is finding his way. I’ve invited him to come on my podcast and I look forward to hearing what he has to say.” Martha even went so far as to previously support the comedian’s relationship with Kim.
Despite the critics believing from the outset that this was not going to last, as the age gap between Pete and Kim indicated that they had different priorities in their lives, Martha simply wanted what was best for Davidson.
In addition, now that he is no longer with Kim, her prior comments show just how much Martha wanted things to work out for them. In some prior comments, Martha remarked: “They seem to have a nice affection for one another, which is so nice.”
With Davidson now reportedly in trauma therapy following the social media attacks by Kanye West, now is the perfect opportunity for Martha to reach out and check up on Pete. And given what we have seen by way of their relationship, you can bet your bottom dollar that this has already happened.
