If someone had told us this a few months ago we would have scoffed, we would have never thought that we would live in a world where Trisha Paytas and Madonna would ever cross paths, but here in 2022 things are happening, the universe is shifting, and Madonna now knows that Trisha Paytas exists, and not even in a derisive “Who is that random girl that keeps saying hi to me on social media” sort of way, nope, this all happened organically.

Of course Trisha had to get in on the action. Now, the Tiktokker who was involved in the live claimed that she wrote the song, which, to our knowledge she didn’t so that might have prompted Trisha’s reaction to the video because Trisha is the one who actually wrote the song.
We hope Madonna knows that, if she doesn’t now she does. Madonna, thinking that the girl in her live sang the video complimented her vocal skills saying that she had the voice of an angel, only…
She wasn’t complimenting the girl in the live. She was complimenting Trisha’s own, autotuned voice.
Yes, we can tell it was autotuned. However, it’s Trisha so we’re not expecting too much on that front. After being around for a decade we pretty much know exactly what to expect when it comes to her voice. However, Madonna is pretty new, so we hope that at some point the girl in the live filled her in and told her that it wasn’t actually her that wrote and sang the song but considering people were tagging Trisha in the comments we’re pretty sure she knows now.
We’re still not over the fact that Madonna called the song “gorgeous” and her voice “angelic”, we’re happy for Trish, but we’re mystified… if this is gorgeous and angelic to Madonna, then what is bad? Though, they do say that hearing is one of the first things to go. Ahem. Stay tuned!!!
