Machine Gun Kelly had a day to forget after he was pictured smashing his guitar and screaming at an employee during his Madison Square Garden concert.
Machine Gun Kelly Screams At Employee And Smashes Guitar In Rage During MSG Concert
According to reports, the concert took place on Tuesday, 28th June 2022. During the course of that process, MGK overstepped the mark to say the least. In the clip here, we can see that MGK runs from the stage and goes down some stairs to make his way over to a male employee, who appears to be operating some sound equipment.
As MGK does so, he prevents the employee from doing his job. A security guard intervenes to make sure that everything is ok, which is why MGK walks back up towards the stage. But in doing so, the rapper loses his cool as he smashes his guitar continuously in front of his fans.
It is not exactly clear why MGK had decided to do this, but outside an alternative explanation, it could have been due to the following reasons. First of all, MGK was not happy with the way in which the employee was doing things.
Secondly, it could be argued that he was simply not in a very good place and that ultimately resulted in him lashing out. Luckily for the spectators, things could have gotten worse if MGK had decided to turn his attention towards the crowd.
Nevertheless, the fans on social media had a lot to say about this. A significant proportion of fans felt that MGK’s behaviour was consistent with somebody that was potentially having a mental breakdown. Meanwhile, others began to suggest that perhaps there were some substance abuse issues involved.
After all, MGK has struggled with that in the past. One person wrote: “Drugs, it’s the drugs,” while another person stated: “After his crazy admission the other day, it’s safe to assume he’s bipolar and is NOT trying to manage it, am I right?”
