32-year-old artist, Machine Gun Kelly, delivered an unexpected announcement to his followers on Instagram by revealing that he had been electrocuted.
Blood Drinker Machine Gun Kelly Shocks Fans By Claiming He Was Electrocuted-‘The Only Time That His Performance Had Been Electrifying’
According to reports, he was electrocuted while performing at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Coors Light Birds Nest, Scottsdale, Arizona on Friday, 10th February 2023.
In the clip here, we can see that MGK is performing to a packed out crowd. He has the microphone close to his mouth. And on closer inspection, his hair can be seen shooting in the air, as the electrocution appears to have happened.
After MGK’s hair was sticking up in the air, he laid down his microphone and let the guiding track he was singing along to play. He shook his head back and forth, which seemed to settle his hair down and have it hang as it usually does.
After that, he quickly ran back to the main part of the stage, enabling him to get close to the fans in the other section of the venue and keep singing. And after having posted an image of the incident, MGK said: “YOOO. I GOT ELECTRICUTED (sic) AND MY HAIR STOOD UP.”
Kelly refrained from providing a fuller account of what had left him stunned, yet TMZ reported that his condition was not serious enough to require medical care. According to the same source, after MGK’s extended performance, he and Megan Fox joined Drake’s Super Bowl bash.
With that being said, the fans on social media began to make a running joke out of the whole situation. And in the process of doing so, the comments were very brutal indeed.
One person wrote: “It would be the only time that his performance had been electrifying,” while another person stated: “Static electricity. He can get the same effect by rubbing the two plastic balloons his girlfriend carries around.”
It is fair to say that this was not MGK’s finest moment. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
