Love Island news host Laura Whitmore has sparked rumours online after posting a picture that apparently showed that the star has become engaged to her fellow Love Island co-star Iain Stirling. The pair worked together on the previous edition of the show, after Whitmore stepped in for Caroline Flack. Stirling has been the voiceover for the show when it made its return back in 2015.
Their relationship was telling throughout the most recent edition of the show as Stirling continuously made jokes at her expense. However, it certainly would appeal to be a relationship based on comedy values as Whitmore hit back at Stirling when she hosted Love Island- Aftersun. Fans were clearly over the moon with the recent picture.
Love Island News: Pictures Show Engagement Ring
Fans were quick to find the pictures on social media, as Whitmore was spotted walking around a park in London with a dazzling ring on her engagement finger. The diamond ring prompted many to question whether Iain had popped the question during their period in self-isolation. Neither of the two have yet made any announcement regarding the pictures.
The pictures were first published by the Mirror, but fans are still no closer to finding out whether they are engaged. It would certainly appear that they are however, as the ring was dazzling from the picture. The picture was taken just days after Whitmore revealed how lucky she felt to be with the comedian.
Love Island News: Romantic History
The pair met for the first time back in 2016, but nothing happened romantically between the pair until a year later. Their Love Island experience in the winter was the first time that they had worked together throughout their careers. Whitmore admitted recently that she had to make the move on him as he was intimidated by her.
In the interview on the Duffle Bag Podcast, she admitted that it took nine months for them to finally get together, but she admitted from the first time that she met him, she knew that they were made to be together. Fans will be waiting with bated breath for the official announcement.
