During the Love Is Blind reunion, viewers watched on as Trevor Sova chatted about his reasons for being on the show. Nick Lachey hit him hard with the questioning and there was a point where Trevor asked to leave the show.
While Trevor was on the show, he connected with Chelsea Blackwell inside of the pods. They confessed that they were falling in love with one another, but he never asked her to marry him.
Lachey made it clear that some text messages came out that Trevor had been dating another woman while he was on the show. These messages aired during the reunion and this destroyed Trevor on national television.

While Trevor just sat and listened to the questions thrown at him at the reunion, it was clear that he was emotional. It turns out that he was asked to be on the show because of the secret relationship that he had with a woman while on the show. The texts aired on the reunion between Trevor and this woman and the cast was shocked as well as the viewers. However, this was not the best way for Lachey to handle the questioning.
Jeramey took to Instagram to share with his fans how he was feeling about what happened to Trevor. He quoted Lachey, “We know you asked to leave, you can leave now.” Then he added, “Correct, when he came on stage, he was clearly shook. Also, before the texts were shown he said he was not mentally able to handle it at the moment. Instead of letting him go then, he had to sit through it. Except that whole part is missing. Mental health is a real thing, people.”
Love Is Blind: Trevor’s Reaction to Lachey
After he was drilled about the woman he was dating, Trevor told the cameras that he didn’t know what to say. He said that the relationship he was in was “toxic” and he even described himself that way. It was clear that he was struggling with some mental health issues while on camera, but Lachey continued to push the topic before allowing him to leave. He ended up saying, “I did come here for good and bad reasons. I can’t take back that I went on the show. I’m glad I went on the show because it taught me a lot about myself.”
