We all love a good dating show and the newest one coming to Discovery+ is called ‘Love in the Jungle.’ Much like ‘Love is Blind’, this is a dating experiment that viewers won’t be able to take their eyes off of.

    What’s It All About?

This show will be a seven-part social experiment and it has been described as “a blend of natural history meets reality TV.” Are your interests piqued yet? They should be!

This show is all about the dating contestants trying to find true love. The initial question on the show is “is the key to finding love mating like animals rather than dating like humans?” This show stars 14 singles and they are ready to test the question on the show the idea is to never use any verbal communication. Will they be able to find love this way or will it all come crashing down?

Ready For the Newest Dating Show? Here’s The First Look At ‘Love in the Jungle’

The premise behind this show is quite interesting and from the trailer that we have seen, each contestant is given a specific animal that they will be during the experiment. They have chosen this animal based on their personality and their sexual appetite.

There are different ceremonies that they will compete in and these ceremonies will determine a lot of the drama and tension on the show. There is an alpha male who is chosen and during the token ceremony, he was choose a future mate to give his token to. Basically, this token is the way that the alpha shows her that he is attracted to her. The woman will then decide if she accepts the token of the alpha or not. There are more men than women so, during this ceremony, one man will get sent home.

The show takes place in a jungle in Columbia and these singles are ready to battle it out to find their one true love. They are forbidden to ever speak to one another and will only be able to act like animals while they are together. If they are truly communicating correctly, without words, they will be able to find love and win the grand prize. They will compete in different mating rituals and even a flamingo dance to try and win the love and affection of one lucky contestant. The couples will solely depend on their body language to really determine who they will fall in love with. No words will ever be used to get to know each other and this experiment will show new ways of communication.

‘Love in the Jungle” is now streaming on Discovery+.
