Little People, Big World fans were shocked to see that Zach Roloff needed to have emergency brain surgery! His wife, Tori Roloff posted that she was hoping for prayers from her fans. She and Zach were very nervous about this surgery. Even though the doctors said it was just a normal procedure, she felt that there is nothing normal about surgery.
This is why she was so anxious about him going in. There were also fans that told her that she had every right to be nervous about her husband. It turns out that many little people don’t do well under anesthesia and this could have been one of her fears as well. Nevertheless, it looks like Zach is up and awake and everything looks good.

Amy Roloff, Zach’s mother, was quick to share some good news on her Instagram this weekend. She shared a picture of Zach in his hospital bed smiling.

She wrote, “Thanks friends and family for your help, prayers, and recommendations. I’m so very thankful for the community of my family and friends. In a snapshot- from Tori’s post, Zach had to have emergency surgery on his shunt, which was very early this morning. So far so good and we’re praying his recovery is strong and goes well. I know he doesn’t want to be here again anytime soon. I’ve been watching the grandkids so she has been able to be with him. Zach’s a trooper as well as Tori. Taking care of the kids- that has been a blast. He’ll be back home in a day or two.”
Of course, Amy’s fans were quick to thank her for the update on his condition. Many of the also told her to send their prayers for a healthy and speedy recovery.
One fan wrote, “I’m so glad to hear he’s doing well! That’s so scary! I have a twin son who has a shunt! It definitely makes a huge difference when they stop working! Continued prayers for a rapid recovery!” A final fan added, “So grateful that Zach has had the surgery and is recovering such a blessing that Tori can be by his side and that you are with the grands.”
We are happy that Zach got through the surgery and we also hope he has a speedy recovery and can get back home to Tori and the kids as soon as possible.
