Lisa Vanderpump may not have seen eye to eye with Stassi Schroeder, but it seems that the duo are moving forward.
Lisa Vanderpump And Stassi Schroeder Are Now On Good Terms
Stassi, for her part, was a member of the hit TV show Vanderpump Rules for a period of seven years since she joined in 2013. But in 2020, she was fired after making racially insensitive remarks that caused uproar amongst the public.
Although Stassi did apologise for her behaviour, the damage to her career had been done as she lost out on several endorsement deals. But given that a significant amount of time has passed since the initial scandal, both sides have been able to put things behind them.
In an interview with Us Weekly, Lisa said: “I actually ran into her. I did say, ‘Yes, I called you back, and I’ve called you and reached out to you.’ … She was very friendly.” Lisa is all too aware of what can happen when you make mistakes.
After all, Lisa has been accused in the past of not paying her employees at one of the restaurants that she owns. This led to a lawsuit and massive public backlash. With that in mind, she just wants the best for everyone who she has come across.
She added: “I wish them all well. I do. I also think they needed to learn a lesson about, you know, respecting other people’s point of views and having empathy and looking at other people’s lives, not just through their own lens.”
And it seems Stassi has taken that advice on board. She could have every reason for blaming Lisa, as the latter was the one who fired her. Stassi could have been left feeling bitter by Lisa not standing by her through it all.
And yet, she has taken personal responsibility for her actions. An insider remarked: “[She] doesn’t think her getting fired is Lisa’s fault by any means.” It is great to see the duo patching things up.
