After NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers made some claims on Pat McAfee’s show about late night host Jimmy Kimmel possibly being connected to Jeffrey Epstein, Kimmel has fired back on X (formerly Twitter), claiming that he has never and would never have associated with Epstein.
Kimmel wrote, “I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, now will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality.”
Dear Aasshole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality. Late Night Host Jimmy Kimmel Threatens To SUE NFL Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Over Jeffrey Epstein Claims
Rodgers said he would pop “some sort of bottle” when the list was revealed while Pat McAfee and A.J. Hawk laughed on the side. It was an interesting episode and certainly delivered some laughs. While it’s obviously not known whether Kimmel would be on the list or not, it’s still troubling for Rodgers to suggest on air, and especially with Kimmel not afraid to take him to court.
Kimmel finished his tweet simply saying, “Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.”
It seems Kimmel is prepared to defend his honor, though, it is a bit ironic considering he makes a living make wild claims and jokes about people every night that are not true. He has made several jokes and claims at the expense of others all while remaining seemingly immune to ridicule (at least from the critics). We’ll have to see how something like this continues to play out, though, we honestly don’t expect this to go anywhere other than X. It was just a call out to see who could score more points in front of people.
What do you think? Would Kimmel really take Rodgers to court over something like this and ? Let us know in the comments below.
