James Howard Jackson, the man who had stolen Lady Gaga’s dogs, has accidentally been released from jail.

According to reports, the defendant was part of a gang that had attempted to steal expensive bulldogs last year. As part of that process, James had allegedly targeted Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer. The latter was subsequently shot, as the dogs were then stolen.
Although Ryan has managed to overcome that ordeal, the very fact of the matter is that those events have stayed with him to this day. Naturally, the news of James’ release has not gone down well with Ryan.
In an official statement, he said: “While I’m deeply concerned at the events that led to his release, I’m confident law enforcement will rectify the error. I ask for Mr Jackson to turn himself over to the authorities, so resolution to the crime committed against me runs its course.”
As of now, there is nothing to suggest that James is going to turn himself in. After all, this was hinted at by the authorities who claimed that attempts are being made in order to track him down.
This also raises the serious prospect that the defendant may resort to similar activity, that being targeting expensive dogs, which he had previously done prior to his arrest. Although this could potentially happen, the authorities are hoping to prevent it.
In a statement on behalf of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Bureau, a representative said: “The investigation is continuing and the LASD Major Crimes Bureau is actively working to get Mr. Jackson back in custody.”
The response on social media was one of this disbelief. A significant proportion of people could not fathom the mass incompetence that had taken place, especially since these actions could harm somebody.
One person wrote: “I don’t know what’s more shocking.. the fact they ‘accidentally’ released him, or the fact he’s only 18 and was capable of what he did… Wow.” The only thing left to do is let the authorities investigate the matter and hopefully hold James to account.
