Kristin Cavallari had no qualms about her ex-husband Jay Cutler briefly dating her former friend Jana Kramer.
Kristin Cavallari Was Not Fazed By Jay Cutler Dating Jana Kramer
The pair initially raised a lot of eyebrows when they were spotted on a date at a theatre, after which Kristin had reportedly blocked Jana on social media.
While their ‘romance’ would go on to be short-lived, it seems Kristin was not concerned at all by what they were doing. After all, she is already occupied with dating Chase Rice.
And so, when the news of their breakup occurred, she carried on as normal. A source told Us Weekly: “Kristin wasn’t jealous, to begin with.”
This begs the question, why did they part ways, and why was Kristin not worried? Well, it looks as though Jay was trying to get Kristin’s attention in the hope that they could get back together.
They had been, at one point, married for seven years, during which they had children together. And in order to try and rekindle a prior romance, Jay was hoping that by showing Jana off, Kristin would make her move.
Sadly, that did not happen. The source added: “The real reason [they broke up] is because he didn’t succeed at making Kristin jealous.
“He took Jana to the most public places for their dates, knowing they would be photographed together and would get attention from being out in Nashville, but it never worked.”
With Jay failing to stay with Jana, it showed that he has not quite gotten over Kristin just yet. But he will need to in order to find some happiness as Kristin is not keen on getting back with him.
And this has been shown through their divorce proceedings, where things had gotten a little bitter. Jay was keen on getting a share of Kristin’s company ‘Uncommon James’ even though she argued that she was the one responsible for setting it up.
Time will tell where Jay goes from here, but it is clear that he and Jana were never going to work from the outset. As for the future, let us hope that everyone involved can settle down and move on to better things.
