Kristin Cavallari has not ruled out the prospect of getting married once again, but for now, she does not see it as a priority.
Kristin Cavallari Wants To Get Married Again But Not Just Yet- It ‘Makes Me Cringe’
The star had called it quits with her ex-husband Jay Cutler in 2020, after seven years of marriage. That relationship had many bittersweet memories, all of which have left her in a conundrum with her own love life. During an interview on the Scrubbing In podcast, Kristin stated: “I definitely believe in marriage, and I think that I will, eventually.
“But the thought of getting married right now, it’s like, ‘Oh, my God.’ Makes me cringe.” Kristin, for her part, was infamously spotted kissing comedian Jeff Dye during their vacation in Mexico. Reports had circulated that the duo were going to come out as an item. And yet, it looks as though it was merely a short-term arrangement.
Looking back, Kristin does not have any regrets though. The only thing she wished she could have done was kept it under wraps. She added: “He was the perfect guy to date after Jay. He was really sweet, made me feel really good. But now I just want to be by myself. And when it’s the time, it’ll happen.”
Despite Jeff’s willingness to commit, Kristin felt that it was too early to jump into another relationship. After all, she had just gotten her life together following her split from Jay. So the prospect of taking a risk, with another man while juggling co-parenting with Jay, came a little too soon. Sources confirmed as much: “Kristin is doing her own thing and focusing on building her brand.
“[The two] were never officially together.” Nevertheless, is there a prospect that Kristin could get back together with Jay? Fans have been particularly insistent on this, given the closeness they have shown in their co-parenting arrangements.
Despite the enthusiasm, it will not be happening anytime soon. The source added: “There are no talks of Jay and Kristin getting back together. They are just friends. They will always have each other’s back no matter what.” Time will tell where Kristin’s love life will take her.
