Kristin Cavallari has revealed that she would be open to getting married again following her split from her ex-husband Jay Cutler in 2020.
Kristin Cavallari Has Not Ruled Out Getting Married Again
Kristin, for her part, had been married to Jay for a period of 7 years during their marriage in 2013. While the divorce has been a bitter affair due to the fact that Jay wanted a part of Kristin’s company, they have managed to stay on relatively good terms for the sake of their children.
And that stability has allowed Kristin to focus on her love life. So much so that she had been dating Chase Rice. And if things continue to go well in that regard, then Kristin has not ruled out marriage at some point in the future.
But for now, there is nothing serious between them. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Kristin said: “I’m really enjoying being alone right now.
“I’ve done the work I’ve needed to do for the past year and a half, and I’m finally getting to a place of potentially being ready for a relationship but not quite yet.”
Those comments do not mean that Kristin does not care about Chase. Rather, she is wanting to take her time to make sure that everything is done properly.
That way, there is no pressure on herself nor Chase to commit to something unless they are ready. After all, there are children who are involved, too, given that Kristin would have to introduce them to Chase.
She added: “In a general sense, yes, I have been [dating]. No one serious, though — I’ve just been having fun. I haven’t wanted a boyfriend. But I’m currently not dating anyone.”
The main reason why Kristin is being cautious is that she wants to put her children first. And with her being a single mother, there are not many people that she can count on.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “When I have my kids, I’m mom — that’s it. I don’t do anything else. I’ve only gotten a babysitter twice since my divorce (once for a baby shower.”
