Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker has popped the question to girlfriend and PDA partner of around 11 months, Kourtney Kardashian. And he sure put a ring on it… a huge one.
The tatted up rocker proposed on Sunday, October 17 at Rosewood Miramar hotel in Montecito, California amongst a heart shaped hedge of red roses surround by candles in hurricane lamps, set up on the beach.
The proposal happened at sunset and eye witnesses say Kourtney looked very surprised, and extremely happy.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker Are Engaged
Kourtney’s sisters, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian watched from the hotel, along with Khloe’s baby-daddy, Tristan Thompson. Momager Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble were also present, and surprised Kourtney after the proposal as they joined the giddy couple for dinner and celebrations in a private section of the hotel.
This will be the first time down the aisle for 42 year old Kourtney. She and baby-daddy Scott Disick never made it official. Travis, 45, was previously married twice before, first to Melissa Kennedy then Shanna Moakler . Between them the couple have 5 children Landon 18 and Alabama, 15 (from Travis) and Mason, 11, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 6 from Kourtney.
The news of the engagement was hardly shocking as the pair have barely come up for air since becoming Instagram Official in February this year by posting a picture of their intertwined hands.
While the couple, who have been quoted as saying they’ve “never experienced love like this,” are reveling in affianced bliss, all eyes are turning to Kourtney’s ex, Scott.
Recently Scott broke up with Amelia Hamlin after his texts about Kourtney were exposed. He sounded very much the jealous ex.
It was already said Travis would be appearing in the new Kardashian show coming to Hulu which began filming in August. It’s no doubt the engagement will feature, along with Kourtney’s wedding plans.
Congratulations Kourt and Travis– now go make out in public to celebrate!
