Sources stress that the pair decided to do things spontaneously and elope at a church in Las Vegas. To make things even more intimate, it is claimed that the ceremony had occurred at 1:30 a.m in the aftermath of the duo being at the Grammy awards.
But in order to keep things under wraps, it is claimed that photos were not allowed to be taken. Not only that, but the pair had allegedly decided to use an Elvis impersonator to conduct the ceremony. Despite going through with the formalities, it turns out that the ceremony will not actually be legally binding.
A source said: “A source at the chapel where they had the ceremony tells us they’ll only perform it with a marriage license, but a source close to Travis and Kourtney tells us they hadn’t gotten a license, which wouldn’t make it legal.”
In reality, it is just as well that the pair did not go through with a legal wedding. After all, given that it is going to be one of the couple’s biggest days in the world, then they would most likely want their closest loved ones to be there.
In addition, preparing a wedding for a Kardashian is clearly going to take a lot of time and expense. And this is something which cannot be done overnight. This begs the question, where do the couple go next?
In light of this, it is clear that the duo will want to have a wedding as soon as possible. After all, there would be no other reason why they would do such a thing if this was not the case.
