King Charles III Chuckles After Waiter Bumps Into Him At A Pub
Charles and his friends were amused when the surprised man made a mistake and said ‘Sorry, King’ instead of ‘Your Majesty’ while expressing his apology. A source confirmed the following: “He opened the door to the room using his back, so he could keep both hands on the heavy tray.
“Then he bumped into someone. He turned round and saw it was the King. Shocked, he said: “Sorry, King. He was later told by his boss that the King found it really funny and it was the first time he’d been called “King.”
The last year was quite a challenge for Charles, since his mother, Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September, making way for his assumption of the throne. However, Charles appeared to be in good spirits over the Christmas holidays, being observed to be merrily joking and laughing with the public outside Sandringham.
In the following months, preparations will intensify for his Coronation which will occur at Westminster Abbey on Saturday, 6th of May 2022. It will be the first Coronation of a British monarch in a long time, as his mother reigned for 70 years after she was crowned Queen in 1952.
With that being said, the fans on social media had a lot to say on the matter. Large numbers of people saw the funny side of it and began to make a running joke out of it. One person wrote: “Gosh, absolutely hilarious……that this is worthy of an article.”
While another person stated: “That’s brilliant!!! Well he is the King isn’t he? Good to see he found it funny.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
