Well, who knew that these two would still be friends so many years later, right? Apparently, Kim Kardashian and Ivanka Trump are as tight as ever as the two were spotted hanging out with one another at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly HIlls Hotel over the weekend. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Page Six, Ivanka and Kim were spotted hanging out like girlfriends do in Beverly Hills on Saturday night. While no one knows exactly what they were doing or what kind of girls’ night they were having, they certainly did look comfortable in each other’s company and also didn’t mind it when they were snapped for a photo. Ivanka wore a long brown trench coat while Kim was dressed in all black.
Kim Kardashian Spotted Hanging Out With Ivanka Trump
The two have been spotted hanging out together on occasion, but mostly because of political matters. Kim worked with the Trumps on prison reform while Ivanka’s father Donald Trump was still in office.
Meanwhile, it seems like Ivanka has been quietly living her life in South Florida with her family. She and her husband Jared Kushner relocated to Miami’s Indian Creek Village in January, following President Donald Trump’s boot from the White House.
Late last year there were reports that suggested Ivanka was looking to become the next Governor of the state of Florida. But, she would be up against Ron DeSantis, who is up for reelection in 2022. “She wants to run, but she can’t run until she holds elected office, because she’s not her father,” the Trump campaign adviser told me. “At the end of the day, Ivanka was only an employee at the Trump Organization.”
One source close to the situation told Vanity Fair, “Republicans close to the Trumps told me the Florida land purchase signals that Ivanka has serious political ambitions. Florida is ground zero for the MAGA base, and members of Trumpworld I spoke with speculated that Ivanka intends to run for president herself, perhaps using a Florida governorship as a springboard.”
