Reports indicate that the couple are expecting a second child via surrogate, which was a shock to say the least. The news broke in and amongst Khloe moving on with another man, as well as the fact that Tristan has been unfaithful to Khloe on numerous occasions.
But with those obstacles seemingly put to one side, they will have the opportunity to give their daughter True a baby brother.
A source told US weekly the following: “Gifting the 4-year-old with a little sibling was always the plan for the Good American cofounder, 38, who created the embryos with Thompson, 31, with the sole intent of using a surrogate.
“The two also specially chose the embryo to be a boy.” Nevertheless, this decision has to be questioned for the following reasons. First of all, even if the pair wanted True to have another sibling, Khloe could have done it without the need to get Tristan involved. This is especially since she has moved on with a new man.
Secondly, this conduct also paints Tristan in a negative light. After all, he is the father of Maralee Nichols’ child. And yet, the latter has claimed that Tristan has not made any effort at all when it comes to seeing his son.
In some prior comments, a representative for Maralee remarked: “Despite news reports stating otherwise, Tristan Thompson has done nothing to support their son. He has not made any attempt to meet their son nor has he provided any financial assistance.”
The fans on social media were equally outraged by Khloe’s decision. And they felt that this would only end in tears going forward. One person wrote: “It’s great that true is getting a sibling but she’s stupid for having another one by him and he’s stupid for acting like his behavior is ok.”
