Kim Kardashian has been busted shamelessly yet incorrectly promoting estranged husband Kanye West’s newly dropped Donda album, posting staged photos of her streams. Yet eagle eyed fans noticed the songs she was “listening to” were playing while her phone was on silent.
It wasn’t just one slip up. The ex of the artist spent the weekend promoting the new album, sharing photos of her phone as it played her favorite tracks from the Donda album. Kim was quickly dissed as every one of the shots was obviously staged…and badly, with the phone on silent for each snap.

Kim wasn’t the only one plugging Ye’s new album. The reality star’s famous sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner also posted a few tracks. Kendall and Kylie, however, were savvy enough to have the volume up on their phones.
Instagram page Onsite posted a screenshot of the blunder while fans dragged Kim for her ‘rookie mistake’ and promotion of something she obviously doesn’t listen to herself.
It’s not like Kanye’s album really needed to the extra support. It’s one of the most heavily promoted albums in recent time with Kanye pulling out all the stunts to get media coverage like collaborating with disgraced shock rocker Marilyn Manson, living in a stadium, setting himself on fire and starting a fight with his record label, claiming they didn’t get permission to release the album and that they left track, Jail 2 (with DaBaby) off.
Kanye even had estranged wife Kim show up on in stage at a Donda listening party (with volume up, one presumes) in her Balenciaga wedding gown.
Reconciliation rumors for the couple flooded the tabloids, but many naysayers believe it was just another way for Kanye to draw attention to his album and beat nemesis, Drake out of the number one spot.
Next we’ll see Kim signing divorce papers without ink in her pen.
