On Tuesday, 31st January 2023, Kate Middleton launched her new Instagram account for the The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, as she laid down a marker for her role as the Princess of Wales.
Kate Middleton Unveils Her New Instagram Account
Kate, for her part, established the foundation in 2021. Prince William had also worked on this to raise awareness of the significance of how improving the early years of upbringing can improve society’s overall situation. In a post on Instagram, Kate shared a video showing off the Foundation’s new goals.
She could be heard saying the following: “The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood is launching a new campaign, Shaping Us, to raise awareness of the life-changing impact we can have when we build a supportive, nurturing world around children and those who care for them.”
This work could prove pivotal in light of the current difficulties on show. A large proportion of children have suffered by way of the struggles associated with the cost of living crisis.
While Middleton and the Royal Family by way of extension may not suffer from those problems, it demonstrates that the Princess of Wales is looking to leave her own legacy on the role by giving back in some way.
In addition, given that she is a mother to three children, she does have some understanding of the challenges that children may face, even if it is from a different perspective to most people.
The social media response, however, was mixed. A certain subset of people praised Kate for showing that she was going the extra mile by using their royal status. Meanwhile, others simply began to make a running joke out of it and make comparisons with Meghan Markle to see who was more popular.
