British Royal Family News says that Kate Middleton is being slammed for not wearing a mask and not social distancing during her latest public appearance. Here’s what you need to know.
According to new reports, the Duchess of Cambridge has sparked concern among many royal fans she seemed to blow off caution to the wind by appearing in public without a mask and not adhering to social distancing guidelines and rules while joining other families from East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) to help plant a garden at The Nook, which is one of the charity’s purpose-build hospices. Royally Obsessed podcast hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie were both surprised by the move.

Bowie said, “Where was the mask? The reason I bring it up for this event is because in some of the pictures, even though she’s outside, she’s not six feet from other people.” Fiorito agreed with the statement adding, “Especially around children and in a children’s hospice, that might be something where they would definitely advise you to wear a mask. I’m surprised they didn’t. I have to say, it’s all about the pictures. It’s interesting because we saw William do it once. He wore a mask for the first time in public because he was at an Oxford vaccine group to learn about the progress being made.”
What’s more, both ladies also pointed out that both the King and Queen of Spain have been spotted wearing masks during each and every one of their public outings so far. The only person in the British Royal Family who has been consistent about wearing a mask in public as been Sophie, Countess of Wessex. So far both Prince William and Kate Middleton have made no comments as to why they have not been wearing masks, despite the fact that the coronavirus is still very much a threat in many parts of the world, just like their royal counterparts.
