Kanye, for his part, made it no secret that he wanted to get back together with Kim. But his efforts had not been helped by the fact that Kim had moved on with Pete Davidson, while his public outbursts against the duo only complicated things further.
And now that the split has become official, he has clearly found it very hard to take. In a post to his fans on Instagram, the rapper shared a meme outlining the negative consequences of divorce.
The meme included the following comments: “Divorce feels like your kids were snatched from your control/ Divorce feels like you’ve been shot and traffic is slow/ Divorce feels like heavy breathing/ Divorce feels like grandma never got over that cold/ Divorce feels like suffocating/ Barely breathing.
“[It feels like] getting beat up in the mall.” Nevertheless, Kim seems to be in a much better mood by comparison. She immediately responded to the decision by removing the name ‘West’ from her Instagram profile.
Not only that, but when she was asked about how she was doing at an appearance at the Revolve Social Club’s opening in Los Angeles, she stated: “I’m doing so great.” The response on social media was not very kind towards Kanye.
A significant majority of people felt that this was coming over the way that he had acted during his marriage to Kim. The breakdown of their relationship was partly due to his own fault and failure to learn from his mistakes. Therefore, he had no option but to accept the consequences of his actions.
One fan wrote: “Is he trying to make people feel sorry for his manipulative stalker ass? Hell no,” while another person stated: “He should have appreciated her more when she was there with him then.”
This could be the make or break of Kanye depending on how he manages to pick himself up after this disappointing news. If he can manage to put it behind him and focus on his children, then that will be to the benefit of everyone. Time will tell.
