Kanye West has opened up on his reasoning behind the purchasing of a new home near his ex Kim Kardashian.

Kanye, for his part, is in a much better position by virtue of the fact that he is currently dating Julia Fox.
But given that he still suffers from outburst time to time, as demonstrated by recent reports that he had punched a reporter in LA, it is safe to say that the most important things in his life include his children.
And as an attempt to be a good father and be closer to them, it ultimately made sense for him to have a house close to his children.
In an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, he said: “My solace comes from seeing my kids and getting a solid schedule. That’s why I even got the house. And yet, not everybody was satisfied by that decision.
There was speculation emerging that this was another attempt or can you try to win over Kim. Thus, by being close to her, there was a feeling that he was going to use his children as a way to get back into her good books.
Although it has been made clear that this will not happen, as demonstrated by the fact that came has moved on with Pete Davidson, that did not stop the media from continuing to spend this narrative.
Kanye added: “[The media] flipped [it] into [saying that] there was something wrong with me getting a house next to my kids.” Being away from your parents is something that Kanye completely understands.
After all, his parents went through a separation which resulted in his late mother moving cities. Therefore, his father was not around in his life as much as he may have wanted. And preventing such a thing from happening to his kids is clearly on his mind.
Kanye’s following comments confirmed as much: “When my mom took me from Atlanta to Chicago, my dad didn’t come to the coldest and most-dangerous city in the world to be next to me.
“There’s nothing with my career, whether it’s rap [or designing], none of that is going to keep me from my children.”
