The pair had been engaging in a back-and-forth on social media by exchanging verbal shots after the rapper was dissatisfied with the manner in which he was being treated towards coparenting his kids.
This included disagreements over whether their daughter North should be allowed on TikTok, coupled with the fact that Kanye had suggested he was prevented from taking his kids to see a basketball game in Chicago.
And after reports indicated that Kris Jenner was trying to be a peacemaker, the removal of these posts would indicate that perhaps Kanye has calmed down. And yet, this move by Kanye could have further implications for the following reason.
First of all, it is no secret that he has struggled with bipolar disorder in the past. Therefore, these changes in his mood from going into viral outbursts and then going silent could merely reflect that.
Secondly, given that the rapper is in a high-profile relationship with actress Julia Fox, the last thing that Kanye would want to do is neglect her for the sake of exchanging attacks on his ex.
After all, Julia is hardly going to be impressed by what she has seen from Kanye. Having said that, though, the damage may already have been done.
Reports indicate that Julia has decided to delete all her photos that included Kanye. Clearly, she may have been impacted in light of what has happened. Irrespective of the reasoning, it was clear that the fans did not want to hear anymore of this.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media, as people felt that it was time to put this issue to bed.
One person wrote: “Please Twitter algorithm, I don’t want to see any more tweets regarding Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s co-parenting problems.
“Or Kanye and Julia Fox dating. Or Kim and Pete Davidson. I already know too much.” It will be fascinating to see whether Kanye comes out with a further statement to clarify this move.
