Kanye West has claimed that he is going on a one-month fast to overcome his vices.

The rapper is attempting to bounce back in light of this anti-Semitism saga following his comments in which he vowed to go ‘def con 3’ on Jewish people. That has already had significant repercussions with major brands cutting ties with Kanye, including Balenciaga and Adidas.
With that being said, it appears Kanye is looking to come back stronger. In a post to his fans on Twitter, he said: “I’m taking a 30 day cleanse. A verbal fast. No alcohol. No adult films. No intercourse. In God we praise. Amen. But my Twitter still lit.”
In addition, Kanye also appears to be doing PR work to combat the fallout that has emerged over him offending people connected to the Jewish community. In response, Kanye has made it very clear that it is not possible for him to be an anti-Semite since he feels he has a connection by virtue of his belief in the Bible.
In another post, Kanye shared a Bible verse which stated: “Jesus of nazareth, the king of the jews,” with his comments: “You can’t be anti-Semite when you know you are Semite.” Nevertheless, Kanye still has a long way to go.
First of all, claims emerged from his former employees that he would often reference Hitler/Nazis in a positive manner during his business meetings. Secondly, it is still going to take a significant amount of time before he is accepted back into people’s good books.
And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. One person wrote: “This is not gonna end well I fear,” while another person stated: “This is going to turn into a bigger problem than I think most people realize.”
