The star has been very vocal in the past by speaking on the stigma that is associated with it. Although that may have been the case, those comments have also been accompanied by other admissions where the rapper made it clear that Kim Kardashian had attempted to get him locked up via the help of a doctor.
And with there being conflicting narratives surrounding Kanye’s mental health, he wanted to let everybody know in no uncertain terms that had previously been misdiagnosed.
In the screenshot here, we can see Kanye has shared a message from his former Jewish celebrity trainer, Harley Pasternak, which referenced that Kanye could get ‘medicated’ if he did not cooperate.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “What should be obvious by now is that I was raised to stand for my truth regardless of the consequences.
I will say this again I was mentally misdiagnosed and nearly drugged out of my mind to make me a manageable well behaved celebrity.” If those comments are taken to be true, then they are very significant for the following reasons.
First of all, it would suggest that Kanye’s recent anti-Semitism controversy in which he vowed to go ‘def con 3’ on Jewish people was not influenced by any mental health issues.
And this was the very same point that radio host Howard Stern mentioned, as he downplayed the notion that this could be blamed on his mental health. Secondly, it demonstrates that Kanye will continue to be vocal.
The fans on social media were horrified by Kanye’s admission. And in the process, people could not believe that Kanye had been sent this message. One person wrote: “Straight up evil.”
