The rapper decided to purchase Chaney a Birkin bag that was reportedly worth $275,000. In the picture here, we can see that it is a grey-coloured bag from Privé Porter.
Not only is this one of the rarest bags from the collection, given that it is no longer made, but reports also state that this was one of the bags that Chaney had wanted herself. This extravagant purchase arrives on the back end of the pair spending more time together.
Just recently, they were pictured attending two NBA basketball matches back-to-back amid Kanye’s public feud with Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson. And yet, this type of behaviour is not unfamiliar for Kanye.
During the course of his 1-month relationship with Julia Fox, Kanye had apparently purchased 5 Birkin bags for the model and her friends. It is clear that Kanye likes to treat the women in his life very well materially.
Having said that, though, this does nothing to suggest that he and Chaney are an item. Despite being pictured together numerous times, reports continue to stress that they are not an item. This begs the question how long can the pair continue to associate with each other, especially since Kim has made it clear that she has moved on.
And this was a sentiment being expressed on social media. A significant proportion of people felt that these purchases demonstrated that the relationship was bound to end, as Chaney has put herself in a position to be well-off in the aftermath.
Meanwhile, others questioned whether Kanye was becoming increasingly desperate to please someone in the aftermath of his break up from Kim. One fan wrote: “He about to end that relationship,” while another person stated: “Smart move. If this relationship don’t work out, she can sell the bag and get a bag.”
