Kanye West has come out with a public apology over the way that he treated his ex Kim Kardashian.

It is no secret that the pair have not had the easiest of relationships following their split with huge disagreements over co-parenting relations for the children. This has primarily been by way of Kanye expressing his dissatisfaction that he does not have an input on his kids’ education.
While that may have been the case, the fact that he goes about airing it all on social media has not helped matters. But now Kanye recognised that he may have crossed the line on certain aspects. In his comments, he said: “This is the mother of my children. I apologize for any stress that I have caused.”
Nevertheless, Kanye’s actions have shown a policy that is clearly different from what he is saying. He was very critical of Pete Davidson’s relationship with Kim and still had the audacity to mock the comedian following the break up.
This was followed up by sharing a headline stating ‘Skete is dead,’ which coincided with claims that the comedian entered trauma therapy. That caused Kim to feel outraged since Pete did get to know her children, even if they only dated 9 months.
But though it all, Kanye recognised that perhaps he needs to change his approach towards social media. His following comments confirmed as much: “So it’s all in how we use it.”
With that being said, the fans on social media were not convinced by the rapper’s apology. A significant proportion of fans slammed Kanye and felt he would be up to his old tricks once again. One person wrote: “You ARE a horrible human being.”
Ultimately, the only way for Kanye to prove his doubters wrong is to show them through his actions. That is the most important thing to remember going forward regardless of what others say.
