Kaley Cuoco has decided to get a new dog after having just seen her last dog pass away very recently.
Kaley Cuoco Adopts A New Dog In Response To Her Previous Dog’s Passing
The actress, who is best known for her time on The Big Bang Theory, is an avid lover of pets. A quick look at her Instagram tells you everything you need to know. Kaley has confirmed that she owns animals such as rabbits, goats and even horses.
During an interview with Variety, Kaley refused to admit how many animals she exactly had: “I’m not allowed to say how many I have, because I am afraid they will come knocking, saying that it’s an illegal amount.”
And yet, she made no secret of this when she shared her new addition to the family. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Kaley shared a picture of her new dog as she is hugging it very tightly. Next to her is her husband (Karl Cook) as he is smiling with joy.
The post was captioned with the following comments: “Welcome to the family, Larry! He’s a nine-year-old ginormous mastiff chunk mutt of love, and we are obsessed… [over] for the perfect addition to our lives…also, thank you to his previous fosters for taking amazing care of him!).”
This is welcome news for the couple, given that their previous dog Norman had just passed away earlier this year. While that is no substitute for the passing, it does allow the pair to forge new memories. This is particularly significant given the emotional toll they had suffered when Norman had died.
In a prior Instagram post at the time, Kaley could not hold back the sadness she was feeling. She said: “Earth-shattering deep, gut-wrenching pain I didn’t know was possible. Norman, you were my entire world for 14 years. Thank you for smiling at me as you left this world…You will always have my heart.”
This is a start of a new chapter, and Kaley will no doubt be already making plans on which additional animals she will be getting next. And if Larry is anything like what her last dog was, then she will have no problems in having lots of happiness.
