The popular boy band Astro’s Moonbin, a K-pop sensation, has passed away.
Fans were informed of the devastating news by Astro’s record company, Fantagio, on Wednesday, saying that the singer “left us and became a star in the sky.” The company claims that, along with his family, a sizable fan base, and numerous other artists, it is “deeply mourning” the tragic demise.
The family will hold a private funeral with close family, friends, and coworkers, according to Fantagio. He was apparently discovered dead in his flat in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, by South Korean police after allegedly missing a recent rehearsal; an official cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
