It is no secret that Julie has not been impressed by the selection of men who are on the market. That is why she decided to take a no-nonsense approach by not settling for anything less.
And so it showed, as her comments suggested that she would rather have a pet than trying to find another man. In an interview on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres’ show, she said: “I did go on some dates.
“And this guy was like ‘You have to come to my house because I have a dog.’ And I was like, ‘I’m getting a dog, that’s the trick.’ Now it’s on my terms.”
And yet, after further revelations, her comments revealed that she would be happy to settle down with someone provided that it was the right person.
In that way, she whittled down her choices to none other than former ‘One Direction’ star Harry Styles. The latter is currently hooked up with Olivia Wilde, which would put an end to the suggestion that he would get with her.
Not only that, but the significant age difference between the pair would also confirm that any potential relationship between the two would not be feasible. But that did not stop her from dreaming.
She added: “You’re asking me if I’d come out of [dating] retirement for Harry Styles? Oh, hell yeah. Him? Look at him!” And yet, it is not just his looks that has made Harry appealing to her. It also seems that she is a very big fan of his music.
And none more so than his hit single ‘Watermelon Sugar,’ that single catapulted his success and confirmed the belief that Harry made the right decision in forging a solo career following One Direction’s split, rather than simply taking a break from the music industry.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “He’s just bringing the joy and the light and the Watermelon Sugar. You just feel good about the whole experience.”
