Julia Fox has hit back at her critics who claimed that she had only dated Kanye West in order to garner publicity.
Julia Fox Blasts Those Claiming That Her Relationship With Kanye West Was For Attention-‘He F–king Wanted Me’
The duo are no longer together after having broken up amid Valentine’s Day. While their split was foreseeable, by virtue of the fact that Kanye had been attacking his ex Kim Kardashian and her lover Pete Davidson on social media in and amongst their relationship, that has not stopped people from speculating that Julia was looking to profit from attention.
And one such user came out with that sentiment. A fan wrote the following comment: “You talked about the man in the press like you all were married.
“Just desperate for the attention. Wasn’t even 15 mins, maybe like 2 mins of fame,” to which Julia replied: “He f–king wanted me too!!!!”
In Julia’s defence, this accusation of publicity could equally be directed towards Kanye. After all, during his fleeting romance with Julia, he had also made it known that he was hoping that God would reunite his family, that being with Kim.
This is hardly the sign of a man who was interested in Julia, and therefore, his actions could only be explained if it was meant to make Kim jealous. Secondly, reports also surfaced that Kanye and Julia were in an open relationship.
Therefore, there was not a realistic expectation that they would be tied down to each other. Irrespective of what people have to say about Julia, she let the world know that her and Kanye are still on good terms.
While it could be argued that these comments were simply designed to avoid any additional scrutiny, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary, we have to take them at face value.
As a result, this would suggest that Julia was not doing this for publicity, as if it were the case, she would not be friends with him.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “Why not see me for what I am which is a #1 hustler. I came up yall lol and not only that but Kanye and I are on good terms! I have love for him.”
