Julia Fox has opened up on how dating Kanye West led to a change in her appearance for the better.
Julia Fox Admits That She Has Changed Her Appearance Since Dating Kanye West-‘I Was Just Packing Up My Old Clothes’
It is no secret that Julia prides herself on her appearance by virtue of the fact that she is a model. But by having Kanye at her side, she has managed to add a fashion icon into her life.
The rapper is known for dabbling in fashion, which has been signified by his Yeezy sneakers brand. That has catapulted his earnings to a reported 9 billion and counting.
And it seems as though Kanye’s influence is beginning to take effect in a positive way. In a discussion with ‘Interview Magazine, Julia said: “After meeting him, a couple days later, all my s— was in boxes, gone.
“It was so cathartic. It wasn’t like I was just packing up my old clothes, it was like I was packing up my old life…To let go of the past.”
And this approach to life was most visibly seen when Julia admitted that on their date, Kanye had surprised her with a wardrobe of clothing.
This is something that she is not particularly used to given that as a model she does have some sort of say in what she should be wearing. But rather than taking offence to it, Julia embraced the idea with open arms.
After all, for once in her life, she had somebody that was looking out for her rather than leaving her to make all the major decisions.
She added: “For someone like me who’s such a control freak and always so used to taking care of myself, to just let go and be taken care of is foreign at this point in life.
“I’ve been the primary caretaker of everyone for so long, so it’s a new sensation, but honestly, I think I deserve it.” Things are looking very good for Kanye and Julia.
If they are able to get on like this going forward, then who knows where this relationship could end up going. But for now, it is best that they take things slow and get to know each other properly before making any significant decisions.
