The stars of the hit show ‘Drake and Josh’ captivated the minds of teenagers across the globe. While they did have great chemistry on set, it seems that off-camera things could not have been further from the truth.
And it all came to a head when Drake was reportedly outraged by the fact that he did not receive an invitation to Josh’s wedding. In a statement at the time, Drake had said: “When you’re not invited to the wedding the message is clear.
“True colors have come out today. Message is loud and clear. Ties are officially cut. I’ll miss you brotha.” Nevertheless, it is important to bear in mind the following factors when judging Josh. First of all, Drake has hardly covered himself in glory ever since they finished their time on the show.
He was controversially involved in some legal trouble during which he was accused of sending text messages to an underage girl. This reportedly led him to getting two years probation and community service for 200 hours.
Therefore, this is hardly the type of person you may want at your wedding. Secondly, in any event, Josh admitted that he was just not very close to Drake. In an interview on the “BFFs” podcast, Josh said: “Maybe we weren’t that close.
“So I didn’t invite him to my wedding because I hadn’t really talked to him in many, many years. Cut to I’m getting married that night, and I see these text messages from him, like, cursing me out.”
The response on social media was one of disappointment. People could not believe that their friendship had deteriorated like this, especially given how close they were on the show. One person wrote: “It’s kinda sad how they ended like this.”
Only Josh and Drake know the exact reasons as to why they are not on speaking terms. And if they cannot work things out between each other, then it is probably best that they go their separate ways. So there you have it folks.
