Pete, for his part, has had to withstand a barrage of social media insults from none other than Kanye West. But in the face of such scrutiny, he has managed to continue pursuing his happiness with Kim, the latter who could not be any happier.

And after knowing him for so long, Jon was happy to see that Pete was trying to achieve some happiness. In an interview on “The Howard Stern Show”, Jon said: “He’s just a kid trying to live his life. He’s one of my favorite people.

“I think he’s doing as best he can in that situation, when you’re dealing with something that’s so explosive and loaded with all kinds of other things, and I just love that kid.”

But these are not just empty words. Jon and Pete do have a strong friendship, despite the fact that they are from different worlds. Pete is one of the modern-style comics that has taken the world by storm, as shown by his SNL performances, while Jon has been in the industry for a whole lot longer.

But apart from just having comedy in common, they do often hang out together. In the picture here, we can see that they both attended a basketball game in New York. They are sitting next to each other and have huge smiles on their faces, as the camera shows them on screen.

Naturally, the fans were fully behind Jon’s comments on social media. They were glad to see that Pete had support, which would help him deal with whatever Kanye may throw at him. One fan wrote: “Don’t worry Pete. It’s his [Kanye’s] internal struggle…Plus he is never ever happy.”

It is great to see Pete having people he can rely on. And by knowing that he does have support out there, it may cause Kanye to think twice before going after him. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
