JoJo Siwa’s new mullet hairstyle has not gone down well with the fans.

The star has traditionally been known to have a long ponytail. But rather than that being the case this time, she went for the mullet. In the video here, we can see that JoJo’s hair length is quite long. It has been made up of a series of extensions, or even a wig, as it is clear that her hair has not grown to that length naturally.
JoJo was then alleged to have said the following: “What the f–k? Did you just call me mullet daddy?” Nevertheless, this is not the first time that Siwa has tried something radical with her hair. In 2021, JoJo decided to style herself with a purple mohawk.
In the image here, we can see that JoJo has styled her hair in honour of Pride Month. And given that she had come out to her fans, this was done to commemorate that step in her life.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “JoJo Siwa is entering her chameleon era. No matter the transformation, the dance star will always shine. The beauty of temporarily altering your look has become increasingly easier — and more extreme — in the age of the internet.”
It is not surprising, then, that the fans on social media had a lot of opinions about JoJo’s new mullet. A certain subset of people praised her for pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable. Meanwhile, others mocked the hairstyle on the basis that it did not show JoJo in the best possible light.
One person wrote: “Is this Jojo or is this Billy Ray Cyrus?!” while another person stated: “that’s not a mullet- that’s the hairdresser getting confused.” As long as JoJo is happy with the style, then who are we to question otherwise. And that is the most important thing to remember going forward.
