During a visit to Disney World with her friend Kylie Prew, whom she met on a cruise in 2020, JoJo Siwa recollected the moment when she became aware of her sexuality.

The 19-year-old spoke about her experiences at the famous Orlando theme park, saying that it had been both enjoyable and challenging, and that she had undergone significant personal growth during her time there.
In January 2021, the star publicly announced her feelings for Prew, after realizing them during a two-week trip to Disneyland with her brother Jayden Siwa and his girlfriend.
The group had a lot of fun riding roller coasters and enjoying each other’s company. The singer stated that this vacation was when she discovered romantic feelings for Prew.
In her comments, Siwa said: “I fell in love for the first time at Disney World. I realized I was gay at Disney World.
“I went through stages of heartbreak at Disney World. There’s been a lot in my personal life that Disney World has really attributed to.”
The 18-year-old Prew and the performer ended their romantic relationship during the summer after reigniting their romance following their split in 2021.
During their time apart, the social Siwa had a brief relationship with Avery Cyrus, who is a TikToker. In May 2022, Siwa announced that she had reconciled with Prew.
She posted pictures from their visit to Disney World, where they can be seen kissing each other on the cheek in front of Cinderella Castle.
According to Prew, it was disclosed that they have once again ended their relationship. In her comments at the time, Prew remarked: “I’ve been single for almost two months, and it’s OK.
“It’s not deep I promise, it’s, everything’s fine. Not everything has to be messy and gross because it’s not and I just want to clear the air.”
The response on social media was far from sympathetic. This was on the grounds that Siwa was coming across as hungry for attention by disclosing her personal life so openly.
One person wrote: “My god she is annoying. no one cares where you discovered you were gay jojo,” while another person stated: “Who cares. You’re a lesbian. Congratulations. No one cares.”
