Johnny Depp has made his film come back with reports that he has been cast to play French King Louis XV.

Johnny Depp Will Make His First Film Appearance Since His Lawsuit Against Amber Heard After Having Been Cast To Play King Louis XV

The actor, for his part, will be making his first appearance ever since accusations that he had domestically abused Amber Heard. That naturally led to a legal case in which both sides were countering each other and disputing the accounts.

While Johnny had always maintained that he was innocent, the very fact of the matter is that he did face pressure from cancel culture as a result.

In response to the initial allegations, he was fired from the ‘Fantastic Beasts film.’ But now he will be hoping that he can put this all behind him in the hope that his career can get back on track.

After all, he has spoken about the dangers of cancel culture in the past. His primary concern was due to the fact that there is an automatic assumption that you are guilty before an investigation has even been carried out.

In a prior interview with Deadline, the actor stated: “It can be seen as an event in history that lasted for however long it lasted, this cancel culture, this instant rush to judgment based on what essentially amounts to polluted air.

“It’s so far out of hand now that I can promise you that no one is safe. Not one of you. No one out that door. No one is safe.”

It is true to say that speaking out is something that people should be doing, but in reality, the danger is that any comments that have been made are always in the public record.

Therefore, if something were to have been stated by accident or be misconstrued, it can always have the disadvantage of being used against that said person, And this is something that Johnny recognises can happen to anyone.

He added: “It takes one sentence and there’s no more ground, the carpet has been pulled. It’s not just me that this has happened to, it’s happened to a lot of people. This type of thing has happened to women, men.”

Time will tell how Johnny’s comeback is received. If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish. Please also visit The Go To Family for all of the latest exciting news on all of your favorite daytime television soaps.
