Johnny Depp is reportedly looking to get his career back on track in the aftermath of his defamation victory against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
Johnny Depp Looking To ‘Revive His Career’
The Hollywood actor suffered a loss of movie roles and damaged his reputation during the course of this highly-publicised trial. But now that the case is over, Depp has already made inroads in trying to improve his reputation. So much so that he has been touring the UK and performing alongside musician Jeff Beck.
Although it is not clear if he is going to switch his attention towards music, the very fact of the matter is that the public response has shown he is still very much a popular person. With that being said, Johnny is looking to the future.
A source said: “His career has been his everything over the years. He loves music, but acting is his life. He couldn’t sit around and do nothing…He very much hopes that he can revive his career.”
This begs the question: Will we see Depp return to acting or is it music from here now on? Well, as of now, it is not exactly clear what Depp is going to do. But that is not necessarily a bad thing, as he has the opportunity to take his time and reconsider his next steps carefully.
And if Heard does attempt to appeal her case, which her legal team has already made clear, this is potentially not the last time that we see Depp in a courtroom. But that is not going to hold Johnny back one bit.
The source added: “He feels a significant weight off his shoulders. It’s been six years of this. It’s been so gratifying to hear from men and women — he’s heard a lot of positive support.”
Hopefully, Johnny can move on to much bigger and better things. And who knows he could end up in a movie again. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
