Fans of Johnny Depp have come out in droves in order to mock Amber Heard’s tears during her testimony in their legal case.

Johnny is suing the actress for $50 million on the grounds of defamation, while Amber is counter suing for $100 million on the basis that the actor had allegedly organised a smear campaign against her. And with Johnny having already taken to the stand, all eyes have now turned on Amber.
So far in her testimony, she has claimed that Johnny had been abusive to the point where he had conducted a cavity search and then inserted his finger in her vagina in order to look for cocaine.
And as part of revealing such information, Amber did break down in tears. In the video here, we can see that Amber is crying. She looks emotionally distressed, as she recalls some of the things that had happened.
In response, the #IStandWithAmberHeard began to trend on Twitter. This also coincided with the fact that Amber had recently fired her previous PR team in the days before she was going to testify.
While it is not clear if that had an impact on her trending on Twitter, she will want to generate as much support as possible with so much on the line. Thus, Amber’s account did resonate with some people as the fact that she began to trend was testament to that, even if she did not convince everybody.
As for those who backed Johnny, they began to question the authenticity of Amber’s tears. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media. One person wrote: “OMG I’m DYING. Amber Heard is the worst actor EVER.
“This fake incoherent PERFORMANCE is sickening… All over the place, too many details, fake sighs, forced tears and looks to the jury.. This is an EMBARASSMENT to survivors everywhere.”
