Joe Rogan’s prior comments about Meghan Markle have resurfaced throwing the podcast host into further scrutiny.

Joe Rogan’s Prior Comments About Meghan Markle Resurface-‘It’s That Little America Hussy’

It is no secret that Joe Rogan is not having the best of time of late after he had been accused of spreading misinformation surrounding the pandemic.

So much so that a significant number of artists such as Neil Young and Joni Mitchell have come out to demand their music be removed from Spotify in protest of the platform’s decision to air Joe Rogan’s podcast.

And now his comments about Meghan have come to the fore. During a previous episode of his show, Joe had been speaking with former CIA officer Mike Baker in which he mocked Meghan by impersonating Queen Elizabeth II.

Joe was alleged to have stated the following: “It’s that little America hussy he’s hooked up with. She’s going to turn him into a Kardashian. That little American hussy has ruined my prince.”

These comments are bound to have a profound effect by virtue of the fact that Spotify also has a deal with Meghan and Prince Harry. It is suggested that the couple had signed a deal worth around $25 million in 2020.

And given that the couple are intent on tackling Covid-19 misinformation, as demonstrated by their recent comments, this is hardly going to do Joe Rogan any favours.

In a statement in response to the increasing number of musicians boycotting Spotify, the duo remarked: “Our co-founders began expressing concerns to our partners at Spotify about the all too real consequences of Covid-19 misinformation.

“We have continued to express our concerns to Spotify.” Nevertheless, the response on social media was not of mass condemnation.

A significant proportion of people felt that this was being taken overboard and was nothing really to write home about. One person wrote: “You do realize he’s a comedian right?

“Never saw that particular episode… but my guess is you’re taking this out of context. I’d 100% assume it was a joke. But what would I know, I’ve only listened to a few hundred of his shows.”

Time will tell whether this story leads to a response from Harry and Meghan.  If you liked reading this article, then check out our other features on the Daily Soap Dish.
