Joe Rogan has weighed in on the escalating legal battle between Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Justin Baldoni, siding firmly with Baldoni and accusing the A-list couple of “ruining their reputation.” On his “Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, Rogan asserted that Lively and Reynolds “f–ked up” by pursuing legal action against Baldoni.
Rogan echoed Baldoni’s claims that Lively’s sexual harassment allegations are a retaliatory move stemming from a power struggle over their film, “It Ends With Us.” “The whole thing’s crazy,” Rogan stated, praising Baldoni for his decision to fight back in court. “Especially, a guy like that who’s like known for being really sweet, nice guy and then he’s, like, ‘Alright, enough.'”
Joe Rogan BLASTS Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Over “Crazy” Justin Baldoni Lawsuit: “They F–ked Up”
Rogan and his guest, Brendan Schaub, marveled at Baldoni’s decision to publicly release “receipts,” including text messages and behind-the-scenes footage, to counter Lively’s claims. “They just never thought that anybody was going to come out with the receipts,” Rogan said.
Baldoni’s $400 million lawsuit against Lively, Reynolds, and their publicist alleges defamation, extortion, and other charges. He has vehemently denied Lively’s accusations, arguing that they are an attempt to smear his reputation.
Lively, however, maintains that Baldoni harassed her on set and that his countersuit is an act of retaliation. Her legal team recently attempted to have Baldoni’s lawsuit dismissed, citing a California law that protects individuals who speak out about sexual harassment.
Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, countered that the law should not be “twisted and curated by privileged elites to fit their own personal agenda.” A trial date has been set for March 2026.
Rogan’s outspoken support for Baldoni highlights the intense public scrutiny surrounding this high-profile legal battle. His comments also underscore the potential risks for celebrities who engage in public disputes, as they can face significant reputational damage.
