Another Hollywood couple is putting an end to their relationship. Known for not lasting long anyways, this one may come as a shock to some. However, the news is out and along with most Hollywood reasons, “irreconcilable differences” was stated.
Jodie Turner-Smith has taken the initial steps toward ending her marriage to Joshua Jackson. The British actress and model has cited the common reason of “irreconcilable differences” as the grounds for the divorce.
As indicated in the legal documents, renowned divorce attorney Laura Wasser is handling the case, and Jodie is seeking joint custody of their 3-year-old daughter, Juno.
Notably, Jodie has explicitly stated her wish to exclude any consideration of spousal support, both for herself and for Joshua. It’s worth mentioning that there was no prenuptial agreement in place between the couple. The officially recognized date of their separation is listed as September 13.

Jodie and Joshua‘s romantic journey began when they first crossed paths at his birthday celebration in 2018. Their relationship swiftly progressed, culminating in their engagement a few months later.
In a rather surprising move, the couple obtained a marriage license at the Beverly Hills Courthouse, a revelation that caught many off guard regarding their relationship status.
They publicly acknowledged their relationship on Instagram just 10 days later by sharing a photograph of themselves gazing lovingly into each other’s eyes during a dinner date.
Despite rumors of a breakup in September 2022 when they unfollowed each other on Instagram, they were seen together at the Oscars in March, suggesting they were still a couple.
