Jennifer J-Lo Lopez and Alex, A-Rod Rodriguez have called it quits. For real this time… No, seriously.
Rumors began to fly (because when don’t they) when J-Lo’s $1.8 million engagement ring was no longer adorning her hand and now the couple have spoken to the Today Show, confirming their 2 year engagement is off.
“We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so,” they said in a joint statement to Today. “We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and each other’s children.”

Sounds very cordial, but we can only imagine the manpower that will go into splitting the power couple’s assets. However, if J-Lo’s amicable relationships with her previous exs are anything to go by, it doesn’t appear that anything should turn nasty.
Pop superstar Lopez, 51, and baseball star Rodriguez, 45 have asked for privacy during this time (good luck), especially when their kids are concerned. J-Lo is the mother of twins, Emme and Max who recently turned 13 while A-Rod’s daughters, Natasha and Ella are 16, and 12 respectively.
Last moth when the rumor circulated that the pair had split, photos surfaced of a distraught Emme, supposedly crying at the news of the break-up. For all we really know, her hamster could have died.
So, what caused the split for real? Likely all the reasons that were reported upon last month, namely the infidelity of A-Rod sliding into Southern Charm reality star, Madison LeCroy’s DMs.
Madison’s fellow (jealous) cast mates outed the two for their inappropriate relationship and though Madison attests nothing physical happened, no one can imagine J-Lo being very happy about her fiance’s late night FaceTimes with the beautiful (D-List)blonde.
While the pair put on a good show after their rumored split, with A-Rod flying to the Dominican Republic where J-LO was filming and packing on the PDA as they worked on their relationship, it evidently and unfortunately didn’t work.
