Although Jay Cutler may have split from Kristin Cavallari, there is one thing that he cannot forget: her chicken wings. The star took himself to her cookbook to find a recipe in preparation for the Super Bowl.
Jay Cutler Cooks Up Kristin Cavallari’s Chicken Wings
When speaking to his fans on Instagram, he posted a picture of the recipe and captioned it with the following: “While we can’t decide on which @kristincavallari wings to make, we do have a pick on the Super Bowl.” The two have remained close since their split, which should be expected given that they shared three kids together: Camden, 8, Jaxon, 6, and Saylor, 5. Naturally, their decision must have been hard given their seven-year marriage.
A statement posted at the time said: “With great sadness, after ten years together, we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce. We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
But rumours emerged that they may be reconciling as they both posted the same Instagram post standing side by side with the following caption: “The world is full of users. Ten years. Can’t break that.” Nevertheless, sources shut down those rumours: “Jay’s ‘rude and dismissive’ treatment of ‘her, their family, friends and fans’ contributed to his split from Kristin. He’d always be in a bad mood and closed off. There was ice running through his veins and he’d couldn’t have been colder or more distant.”
And since that time Kristin has been dabbling with comedian Jeff Dye. Sources said: “She’s just hanging out with him. They’re enjoying each other’s company [and] having fun. That’s it. They’re really just getting to know one another and seeing where things go. If they do decide to one day become official, people will know for sure. If she goes to L.A., she’ll meet up with him. But right now, there are no labels. “They’re not exclusively dating and aren’t boyfriend [and] girlfriend.”
