Jason Derulo and Jena Frumes are expecting a child very soon. And by all accounts, the couple could not be any happier.

In a post to his fans on Instagram, Jason stated how he could not hide his delight at the news. In the video, we can see the couple kissing each other, overlooking some water. Jenna’s baby bump is clearly visible. The post was captured by the following: “Couldn’t be more excited for this new chapter in our life.”
The two initially met each other just before the pandemic began, and it seemed they had one major thing in common. Yes, that is right, the gym. Jason is well-known for keeping himself in good shape, and that is the same philosophy that Jenna lives by. In a previous interview with Page Six, Jason opened up on how they both value fitness.
He said: “We both have a similar desire to work out all the time, and I had seen her once there before, and then the second time, I was like, “Aight. Imma go talk to her, and the rest is history.” Jason’s career has had a resurgence of late. Not within the music industry, as such, but on another platform: TikTok. The singer has released a number of videos, which have gone viral, and that has been all down to the visual effects that Jena specialises in.
He added: “She likes doing the transitions. She likes doing like really organic things, whereas I kind of really like the special effects kinds of things the most. Mine take[s] a lot longer to do the special effects, so sometimes she just doesn’t want to wait that long.” Jason is a lot happier than he was in his previous relationship. The singer had previously dated fellow singer Jordan Sparks for a period of three years.
So when the news of their breakup occurred, it was hard for Jason to get over it which was understandable. But that is now all behind him as he is moving onto the next chapter in his life. It is good to see the couple doing so well, and long may that continue.
