It sure does seem like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are losing fans all around the world these days. There’s a new report that suggests even Japanese royal fans have been left shocked by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s apparently ‘rude’ behavior towards the rest of the royal family. Here’s what you need to know.
According to royal expert Angela Levin, she says that people from the East Asia country have been interested in Harry and Meghan’s lives but also shocked with how they have conducted themselves ever since they pulled the plug on their working relationship with the royal family.
Japanese Royal Fans Shocked By Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s ‘Rude’ Behavior
In the Substack newsletter, Levin wrote, “Japan is fascinated by our Royal Family. Every few weeks I am asked by one of their TV channels to update them on what is happening in the UK. Their key interest at the moment is Harry and Meghan and who can blame them. They can’t quite believe their behaviour towards the senior royals is so, well, rude. No one would behave like that to their royal family, they tell me.”
As many fans know, Harry and Meghan have been living in California with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, ever since they left the royal family. Senior members of the monarchy, including Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, haven’t even met the couple’s baby daughter yet, prompting a lot of speculation as to when they will return to the UK for a much needed family reunion.
They wanted to know if he and Meghan and the two children would be coming over for Christmas,” Levin continued, adding, “I explained how tricky it would be if they did and explained that Christmas with Her Majesty ran on very firm lines.”
So far the Sussexes have not made any comments about their travel plans.
