Jana Kramer has opened up about what it has been like to celebrate her first-ever Thanksgiving without the company of her children in what was an emotional time for the singer.

Jana, for her part, has been involved in co-parenting arrangements with her ex-husband Mike Caussin ever since they finalised their divorce following Mike’s continual infidelity.
While it is good that her children can spend time with their father, the prospect of being alone has taken its toll on her. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Jana shared a series of pictures of her enjoying some family time with her kids Jolie and Jace.
The post was captioned with the following comments: “Happy Thanksgiving. I’m beyond thankful for my beautiful babies. My heart hurts not being with them today.
“I have a feeling whether it’s the first holiday apart or the 30th, there will always be an ache in the heart.” Clearly, it is going to be a challenging time for Jana. And yet, it also showed her just how valuable being a parent can be.
After all, many others would want to be in Jana’s position. That is why she has remembered all those who may not be able to enjoy Thanksgiving like she is able to do so.
Jana added: “BUT How grateful and thankful I am that I’m their momma. Thinkin of all the others that are having a “first” holiday of loss or missing or just a difficult time.
“Let it out and then let’s eat and drink our feelings.” And by the looks of it, Jana started to get emotional. In the video here, we can see that she is crying over the fact that her children are not there.
Jana is lying on the sofa, as she contemplates her life while showing the camera around the house to signify how empty the place was at that moment.
Luckily for Jana, she will be able to spend time with her children once they are reunited. That is something that she should keep in mind when she feels down about their absence.
